Please play "Rise and Shine", the whole album is for Kim, and Date With An Angel has always been a favorite. It means so damned much, and with renewed meaning. The perfect song.

I can imagine no worse feeling than to get news that my wife/bestfriend/lover was killed suddenly without any warning. The ultimate nightmare. Mac all of your fans are with you in this painful time. Wish I could help somehow..

Kim's memorial service will be on Tuesday evening at Zilker park in Austin. I'll try to post more details as I receive them, but I will be leaving for Austin tomorrow.

Flowers may be sent to Cook-Walden Funeral Home, and they will be transporting them to the memorial service at Zilker Park on Tuesday (August 8th).

Here's the address:

They need the flowers to arrive by Monday afternoon or early Tuesday morning.

Be sure to include Kim's name with the delivery.

Celebrating the Life of Kim McLagan

Postby Lynney » Fri Aug 04, 2006 5:21 pm

For Kim McLagan from her loving husband Ian 'Mac' McLagan

"She is my shining light and always will be. Her life was a testament to love and healing and everyone who met her felt the glow from this warm, loving and giving being. She means everything to me but I know we'll be together again in a better place. She is a flower and a dream, and finally the Angel she always was...Her family and friends are spread all over the world but the outpouring of love for her is just a reflection of the love she gave. She said, "You get what you give" and as always she's absolutely right.

Kim is an Angel, finally. "

Please come join us Tuesday, the 8th of August to celebrate Kim's life.
