ROCK LEGENDS SING FOR THE CHILDREN 

“It’s All About The Children”

Six celebrated rock musicians have come together to release “It’s All About the Children” on the 15^th July for the Small Faces All Children Charitable Trust.    

Legendary sixties musicians Kenney Jones (The Who / Small Faces) and Ronnie Wood (Rolling Stones) have joined forces with Paul Young, Gary Grainger (Rod Stewart’s band), Robert Hart (Bad Company) and Rick Wills (Foreigner) to produce a new charity single for the Small Faces Charitable Trust.  The song was written in response to statistics that show 60 million children are living on less than a dollar a day and every 3 seconds, somewhere in the world, a child dies from a lack of basic resources.  

One of rock music’s most enduring drummers, Kenney Jones, established the Small Faces Charitable Trust to provide assistance to children globally.  Working alongside UNICEF and the STARS Foundation the trust will provide a strong platform for a diverse range of children.  Following Nelson Mandela’s mantra, “We cannot waste our precious children.  Not another one not another day”, Kenney has chosen to be flexible in his support of various projects and hopes to help young people regardless of disadvantage.  “The aim of our charity is to provide support where other assistance may often be unavailable.  The only criterion our charity embraces is that of helping all children in difficulty as best we can.”   

“It’s All About The Children” is a fusion of the top rock talent and a serious concern for the world’s children.  Two remixes also feature on the record, a dance version which is set to become this summer’s dance anthem and a funky hip hop track.  

Proceeds from the record sales will go towards the charity
