TAKE A LOOK AT THE 5 GUYS PHOTO CONTEST

15 Sept 2004 The Faces are the cover story on the new issue of Stomp and Stammer. Andy Pierce is the author and, as if by magic, the huge chunks of the article that cannot physically appear on their site (or in their mag) will appear here quite shortly.

More photos were added to the 5 Guys Photo Contest today, and please check out the CREEM contest to see how you can still get killer Faces schtick! Boy Howdy!

16 Aug 2004   The FACES FIVE GUYS CONTEST is going on now.  The contest ends as soon as all prizes have been won, so please check it out NOW!

26 July 2004 Contest entries for the snapshot contest are trickling in.  I'll have a gallery online soon.  To win, simply send in a funny shot of you posing with your recently-got box set, and if it's voted funniest, you've won.

9 July 2004 Oh, by the way, the box set is out in the UK.

Looks like we're going to run another contest-- not only the Creem contest, but another one, just for fun. The idea is to come up with a whacky, strange pose of you holding your recently-got Box Set. So, get out there and buy it, and start snapping shots.  There will be prizes. And, of course, no people or animals may be put into harm's way... and no shoving small shiny objects in the orifices of garden gnomes.

28 June 2004 Warners/Rhino has announced that, due to massive pre-orders of the box set, the release date has been set back so more copies can be manufactured and distributed.  The new release date in the UK is 5 July.  No changes to the 20 July release for the rest of the world has been announced.  Mac is already taking orders for signed copies of the box at his site, here.

6 June 2004Creem Magazine has an online review of Five Guys, which can be found at the following link:

Creem Magazine

Tagline: "It'll be a real shock if this isn't the most important box set to come out this year."  Boy, Howdy!

Also, the recent Mojo has a very positive review of Five Guys, as well.  It has been posted in the Forum's "yes, the Box Set" thread.  As Nikki points out, beware: the reviewer is the same that gave that horrid Faces book by Jim Melly a good review so, despite it being a rave review of the box set, the reviewer is quite suspect.

20 May 2004 It was announced today that Five Guys will be officially released in the UK on May 28. That means the UK will have it a full month before the States, you rotten bastards.

18  May 2004  At long last, an official release date has been set for Five Guys Walk Into a Bar. It will hit stores on July 20, 2004.
